We were so honored to have been chosen by Cranbrook Custom Homes to provide model home decorating and staging of this stunning 6300 square foot model/spec home in Bingham Farms, Michigan. Our team’s eye for design and our high standards for quality really shine in this exquisite dwelling and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Read on to learn more about how we approached this project.
A Smarter Approach to Model Home Marketing
Interior Design on a high-end model home requires a sophisticated eye and furnishings and décor that mirror the quality of the finishes throughout the home. No other staging company in the area can offer a model home service that meets that criteria while creating budgetary efficiencies for the builder.
Luxury Homes Deserve Unique and Custom Materials
Projects like this one allow us to work with pieces from our extensive inventory, augmented with items purchased specifically for this installation. Since we wanted upmarket materials appropriate for a dwelling of this caliber, we were able to use our best custom furniture vendors to create a richly-appointed, high-end installment that would rival any luxury model home design.
This model home “stage” featured bespoke, one-of-a-kind natural wood tables from Live Edge Artisans in Royal Oak. Custom upholstered pieces added elegance, and our creative and sophisticated décor selections included several special-order, oversized art and accessories in keeping with the scale of the space. Our talented staging team brought it all together and the results, well, they speak for themselves!
Our Process
The services we provided for this project started with an in-depth consultation with the builder to understand their vision for the property. Next we created style boards to confirm our recommended décor styling direction and to ensure the custom pieces we selected aligned with the client’s vision for this property. Once our proposed budget was approved, we coordinated and managed the selection and purchasing of the content. Finally, our logistics, design and staging teams went to work on a seamless and timely installation.
The Impact Edge for Builders
Unlike traditional model home design, our clients do not absorb the cost of purchasing what is required for the installation. Any furniture, décor and art we have purchased will be brought back to one of our warehouses to be made available for other projects in the future. Because the builder does not assume the cost of procuring these materials, it represents a significant cost savings versus traditional interior design. The result is a stunning show house for a fraction of using a designer and purchasing the furniture and décor.
